Closed Captioning and Subtitling
People often confuse the terms "Subtitling" and "Closed Captioning". From a technical point of view, the text is positioned in a similar place and manner for both subtitling and closed captioning. However, closed captions are in the same language as the audio content while subtitles are in a different language.
